Area Extension Agent 4-H Youth Development and Family & Consumer Science Kit Carson County, Golden Plains Area, Burlington, CO
The Extension Agent is a local representative of Colorado State University and serves as a member of an area team. The individual will provide leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of Family and Consumer Science educational programs for adults and youth in the Golden Plains Area Counties.
A completed bachelor’s degree is required for this position. One degree must have been conferred in youth development, family and consumer sciences related program area (human nutrition, food safety, human development, financial management, community development, health and exercise science), education, public health or closely related field. A successful candidate without a completed master’s degree will be required to complete a master’s degree within five years from the start of employment. Failure to do so will result in termination unless a compelling reason is accepted by the Vice President of Engagement and Extension.

KIT CARSON COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE
Kit Carson County Clerk’s office is accepting applications for a Financial/Motor Vehicle position. Computer experience is needed. Applicants must have a valid driving record. All employees for the County Clerk’s office will have background checks so they can assist with elections.

The Kit Carson County Sheriff's Office currently has a full time Dispatch Deputy opening. Applicants must be 21 years of age and a U.S. citizen or possess appropriate work visa. High School diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid driver license. Must be able to work all shifts, which includes days, nights and weekends. Must pass a back ground check and drug/alcohol testing.

Kit Carson County Ambulance Service provides services as needed to eastern Kit Carson County and transports to the Denver Metro area. These positions are on call positions and considered part time. Call hours are flexible and paid per event plus paid on-call time and annual bonus available. Other compensation includes uniforms, continuing education training, and opportunity to provide an essential and valuable service to the local community.
